HIERONYMUS LORM

An exhibition dedicated to a native of the South Moravian town of Mikulov. At the age of 15 he lost his hearing and his eyesight gradually deteriorated. He created for his own use a system of manual touch alphabet for the deafblind, the so-called Lorm's alphabet, modified versions of which are still used by deafblind people in the Czech Republic and other countries.
